Access to Services provided on N3 for Health Organisations

July 08 - Access to N3 services continues to be available for Health Organisations in Wales after the migration to PSBA. Connectivity is maintained through the N3 Gateway which is managed by HSW to assure that these key business links remain in place.

Migration to PSBA enables Health Organisations to take advantage of:

• A fast and reliable network for health supporting existing health applications with growth for new applications. 
• The flexibility to cater to future needs of the health service, including the ability to take early advantage of updates and  improvements in networking technology.
• Support for health organisations in implementing innovative new services – for example, the use of video conferencing.
• Savings on the cost of telephony by enabling organisations to converge their voice and data networks.
